The Keyword Linking Tool provides eBay affiliates with an easy way to generate trackable links by entering keyword searches or unique identifiers such as ISBNs or UPCs. Affiliates can submit a list of up to 5,000 different search terms and quickly create links to the corresponding search results pages.
In addition, if the affiliate chooses to submit a list of ISBNs, UPCs or MPNs (Manufacturers Part Number), they can build search results links OR links pointing to the Product Details Page for each of the corresponding products.
eBay also offers additional options for more detailed tracking and customization of your landing pages :
- Automatically Generate a Commission Junction SID
- Affiliates signed up with Commission Junction can create an individual tracking ID for each link they create. If the user selects this option, eBay can automatically generate an SID for each link by using the corresponding search term the user submits.

- Show "Welcome New User" Module
- Affiliates can choose to have the "Welcome New User" module added to destination page for any of their keyword links. These modules have been proven to help in conversion of new users.
- Display Item Results in Gallery View
- Affiliates can choose to display items on landing pages in Gallery View as opposed to the default List View.
Once an affiliate has submitted their keyword list and selected any additional options, eBay will e-mail the affiliate a file containing a list of the keywords and the corresponding links that they have requested.
